Dear Anonymous,
I paint my nails as an emblem of femme empowerment. I still regard it as a femminine act, which I don’t think should be exclusive to bodies. The beauty of femme empowerment is choice. I say, fuck “new masculinity” - Why must nail polish be deemed as a form of “masculinity” for it to be acceptable?
Disassemble your ideas of masculinity - Disempower it’s role in the patriarchal machine.
Are you referring to physical beauty here? I am beautiful because I create beautiful things, & deeply connect with the creative and spiritual world, & share my experiences with those whom recognize beauty beyond our rotting flesh.
I am not wax fruit, I rot. So do you. I’m rotting while I write this & perhaps to cope with rotting in a physical shell, I will wear more nail polish…. and naked under a pile of amorphous wigs I shall photo-document my decay.
Appreciate all of your projections,
M
